This June we’ll explore Forgiveness all month. We will use examples of forgiveness from Jesus and stories from our own lives, celebrate Fathers Day with a circle of forgiveness, and learn effective daily practices for keeping our side of the street clean, thereby making our lives more joyful, loving and functional! Join us on Facebook Live every Sunday!
June 7: Get Real: What’s Mine to Forgive?
Are we truthful with ourselves about the grudges we hold? How can we know? Do we think we’re in some way getting revenge on others when we refuse to let go? What if we see our old stories through new eyes? What might the rewards be? Let’s get real together.
June 14: Jesus’ Example: Don’t Try This Alone
How can we possibly forgive someone who has done us—or loved ones—harm? Even if we forgive the past, how could we forgive what’s still happening in the present? Does forgiveness mean I just have to take whatever anyone dishes out? How did Jesus do it?
June 21: They Know Not What They Do: Letting Dad Off the Hook
This Father’s Day, we will explore how misguided masculine energy has been responsible for wounding. Do we really have to forgive our families’ dysfunction, let alone that of our society and world? What is the difference between forgiveness and approval? Do you have to forget in order to forgive?
June 28: Turn the Other Cheek… Really?!
How do we deal with those memories that creep up and wound us long after we thought we had forgiven? How many times do we have to forgive? What is our responsibility? Can we make forgiveness a habit? We will learn transformational daily practice and explore its deeper implications.
