Wisdom of the World’s Religions, Continued
June 2: Judaism
The founders of western religion, the Jews were first to proclaim God as ONE, and to dare to believe God could be loving. On their path, they have met hardship, and in their story we can learn the metaphysics of freedom for ourselves.
June 9: Christianity
Jesus was a Jew who spoke of a new way to live – in love only. We’ll explore his life and teachings, and how others then turned it into a new religion.
June 16: Awaken the Divine Masculine
The energy of the Divine Masculine is both reflective and projective. In our patriarchal culture, these energies can be (and often have been) misunderstood, misdirected, and misused. However, when understood, guided, and informed by love, they are the very energies of strength, selflessness, and heroism.
June 23: A Course in Miracles
A Course in Miracles has become a legitimate spiritual path for millions in just a few short decades. We will briefly explore some of the gifts of this HUGE (in length and impact) book and demystify its wisdom by applying it to our own lives.
June 30: Indigenous Earth Religions
When Humanity loses connection to the holiness of nature, becoming consumers of Earth rather than acting in intimate partnership with it, we lose our connection to our own holiness. The Primal religions give us a guidebook and practices to find our way back to shared holiness.
